Nadeem Al-Duaij, MD, MPH

Nadeem Al-Duaij co-founded the Kuwait Health Initiative in October 2005 to help develop equitable reform strategies for Kuwait’s health sector focused on solid foundations of prevention and primary care. Through it, he is spearheading efforts to establish a prominent health policy “think tank” serving Kuwait and the region. Nadeem is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has completed a fellowship in Medical Toxicology at Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a practicing emergency physician and remains Staff Toxicologist at Children's Hospital Boston, a Harvard-affiliated institution. He also maintains an appointment as Distinguished Visiting Scholar in Global Health Policy at Brandeis University. Nadeem also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Harvard School of Public Health with a concentration in global health policy.

Bibi Alamiri, MD, SM

Bibi Alamiri brings her valuable expertise to the group as both a psychiatrist and an epidemiologist. Bibi serves as Acting Head of the Child & Adolescent Unit at the Ministry of Health Kuwait. She is also enrolled in a Doctor of Science degree in Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health where her concentration is psychiatric epidemiology. Bibi’s interests include mental health policy, health access inequities, child abuse prevention, and epidemiologic methodologies.
