KHI method of operation

To achieve its goals of promoting sustainable change in the regional health systems and bridging the gap between research and policy-making, KHI focuses on four strategic cores:

1. Research core to build a reliable, comprehensive, and useful repository of quality data;
2. Educational core to educate and train the public and health professionals in principles of public health and policy;
3. Advocacy core to engage in public campaigns, provide support to various interest groups, and lobby to key stakeholders; and
4. Policy-making core to focus on producing evidence-based policy recommendations and engage in political analysis to facilitate policy adoption and implementation.
